Our highly qualified ACMG-certified guides will lead you up the cliffs of Mt Norquay that hang above the Bow Valley, overlooking the town of Banff. Steel handholds, ladders, and footsteps as well as a steel safety cable are secured to the rock wall providing assistance and safety. Climbers are safely secured to the safety cable while climbing. The Skyline Route is a 4.5 to 5-hour Via Ferrata tour that includes an exciting high traverse on a sheer rock wall and crosses an “airy” 55m suspension bridge. Your effort is amply rewarded at the top, with outstanding panoramic views where the Rocky Mountains stretch out in every direction. Although no prior climbing experience is necessary, guests should be fit enough to climb multiple ladders, and be comfortable spending four to five hours hiking in mountainous terrain.
