Sunwapta River Self-Drive Rafting Trip
The Sunwapta River is the only Class III white water offered in Jasper National Park. The river is glacial fed and is great for first time rafters if you are looking to paddle hard, get soaked, and have a lot of fun! The river trip itself begins with a float where crews can practice their paddling technique before the show begins. The Kicking Horse trip includes all of the biggest & best rapids on the river. This unforgettable journey begins calmly, where you get familiar with rafting and find out fun facts about the river as you take in the views of the scenic upper section. Then, it’s onto the mighty rapids the Kicking Horse is famous for! As the canyon narrows, the waves build, drenching rafters in continuous class 4 rapids. We provide all the necessary rafting equipment, including wetsuits, shoes, helmet and life jackets and we have lots of warm gear so you will always be warm and comfortable.

Athabasca River Mile 5
This two hour round trip (~one hour on the water ) is our most popular trip, and has the longest season, early May to late September. Your adventure begins with a 10 minute float followed by Class II rapids. Class II is an excellent introduction to white water as it offers a mix of splashy thrills, and calm floats. Suitable for ages 5 and up. For groups larger than 8 people, please contact us before booking.
