Join us for an unforgettable evening as we take you up close to Kona’s incredible manta rays—without the big crowds. Our Night Manta Snorkel is designed to be personal, relaxed, and unforgettable. With just 12 guests max, you’ll enjoy plenty of space, personalized attention, and unbeatable front-row views of the manta action. Once in the water, you’ll float effortlessly on the surface for 30–40 minutes while holding onto our custom light board. Its powerful lights attract plankton, which in turn draws the mantas in close. Before long, you’ll be watching these graceful giants glide and loop below you—an encounter you’ll never forget. Requirements: To join, you must be comfortable in the water and able to float on the surface with the assistance of a waist flotation device. You don’t need to be an expert swimmer, but you should feel confident using a mask and snorkel.

Sunset Manta Ray Tour in Kailua-Kona
Experience an unforgettable sunset manta ray snorkel tour, consistently ranked among the top lifetime adventures in Hawaiʻi. We specialize in small-group tours, limiting each experience to no more than 10 guests in the water, unlike many operators with 25–50 passengers. The result is a calmer, more personal encounter with these incredible animals. Check in directly at our in-water boat slip (G-8) for fast, easy boarding. After a thorough safety briefing, enjoy a smooth 10–15 minute ride to a prime manta snorkel site, followed by 35–40 minutes in the water with attentive, experienced swim guides. Reboarding is simple with our wide ladder, and the return ride offers comfortable seating. Each tour includes 2 crew members for personalized attention. A minimum of 4 guests is required; if not met, we’ll coordinate a reschedule. No hidden fees. Snorkel gear, wetsuits, bottled water, hot cocoa and tea, snacks, GoPro 13 photos and videos, plus all taxes and fees are included.

Manta Ray Night Snorkel Adventure
For snorkelers, we will be floating on the surface as a group on our custom built board with spotlights pointing down on these creatures swimming below. Watch as these beautiful creatures glide beneath you, performing somersaults and spins. For the certified divers, this is a really easy night dive, we will mostly be kneeling in the sand at the bottom of the ocean no deeper then 30 feet with lights above and around us. This adventure includes all gear (mask, snorkel, fins, wet suit if requested), snacks, beverages and a delicious lunch. Also provided sunscreen and towels.
