Join us for this day trip as we take you along the best of the Mid Island! 2 waterfalls, as much or as little hiking as you would like, a delicious lunch, some old-growth 1000-year-old trees, and the amazing animals at the North Island Sanctuary to finish the day! First, the waterfalls, Englishman River Falls is a uniquely shaped fall, wedged sideways in it's canyon. Then the amazing turquoise cascade and horseshoe bend of Little Qualicum Falls. For lunch, we will be heading to French Press Coffee Roasters in the scenic small town of Qualicum Beach. Then you will visit the breathtaking Cathedral Grove with giant towering trees and an amazing nature walk before heading out to Cameron Lake for our Lunch. At the North Island Wildlife sanctuary, you will visit many animals rescued from the wild, such as Rae the Black Bear, Cassie the Bald Eagle, Opal the White Raven and many more, some who will be released once they have been rehabilitated.
