Keji Canoe Trip - 2 Day
This trip is best suited for families with children under 10 years old, or folks who are on a tight time budget, or folks who want an adventure with less commitment to activity. This is a fully guided 2-day backcountry canoe adventure. No experience is necessary, minimal to no portaging, suitable for everyone. This trip isn't a backcountry slog- our main focus is time spent at camp, so this is especially perfect for young families or folks who have limited time and want to relax. I highly recommend this trip if you have young children! Our Keji Canoe Trip will begin with a rendezvous at our headquarters at Jake's Landing. We'll repack your items in our waterproofs, have a quick lunch (we provide this!) and then take off into the wilderness. On hot days we might swim from a canoe flotilla, or catch some shade and a snack under an old growth hemlock tree. We aim to blend luxury and comfort with Nova Scotia’s unforgettable landscape to create an adventure perfect for anyone to enjoy.

Bear Adventure in Spring
What makes this tour unique it that there are no crowds and we are not in bear stands. Viewing is from the boat only. Most often we are the only boat out there. Additionally, we do not book more than 8 guests on this adventure to ensure unobstructed views and a quiet setting for bears. Upon departure, we travel 2 hours north of Campbell River into the heart of bear country through vast fjords with whimsical waterfalls for you to enjoy while your guide keeps a keen eye out for intertidal Black bears! Shortly thereafter, we head to the estuaries in search of Grizzly bears. This is a spring bear tour and only books May & June when bears are emerging from hibernation and their spring foraging habits are predictable. They are not feeding on salmon this time of year. Note: Departure times vary due to tides. If your departure time changes we will contact you prior to the trip. You will have the opportunity to walk around the cozy city of Canmore. Visit the main street and have a dinner in one of the local restaurants. Canmore is also famous for its beautiful embankment where you can observe wild animals and just walk admiring the views of Canadian Rockies . After full day of advanture we will drop off our guests to the meeting point in Calgary .
