From Santo Domingo: Saona Island For Small Group Catamaran
We will pick you in our meeting point in the colonial area to set off for Bayahibe. Once there, we'll get on a boat heading to Saona Island and, halfway there, we'll make a short stop at a place called Blue Lagoon. On this sandbar in the middle of the water, you will have 40 minutes to relax. Also, not far away, we will see a sea star sanctuary in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. They come in all colors! Then we will finally arrive at Saona Island, where you will enjoy two hours and 45 minutes of free time to investigate this tropical paradise. Coral reefs and extensive beaches full of coconut trees and fine golden sand are waiting for you. At 1:00 p.m., we will meet at Palmera Turístico beach to recharge our batteries with a buffet lunch where you can eat pasta, salads, and rice. Enjoy! Afterwards, we will board a catamaran to make the way back while we have fun with the entertainers, music, an open bar of soft drinks and a very festive atmosphere.

We will pick up at your hotel until Holy Sunday and we will head towards the eastern part of the city to begin our tour in the National Park Los Tres Ojos. Once we get there, we will enter to visit one of the best known underground caves of the region, which has been formed by the rise of rivers, giving rise to three natural lakes. Why this name? It is because of the eye shape that can be seen in the interior lagoons. Probably, the cave, which was discovered in 1916, was a regular place for the celebration of sacrifices by the native Indians. During the trip through the Three Eyes, you will have the opportunity to contemplate the rich fauna that lives in this paradise of crystalline waters, like a wide variety of fish and bats.
