During the night at high tide, the females come to lay their eggs. This is a unique experience that will provide priceless memories. Our Naturalist Guide will share learned secrets and expertise about this marine species and its history in Tortuguero, in a totally natural environment with profound respect for nature. The tour always takes place even if it rains, it cannot be postponed for another day. It's important to understand that the chances of having the opportunity to observe a sea turtle in its natural habitat are high, but the possibility of not seeing one exists. 3 Activities Package Tortuguero with Breakfast Included
This is a package of three activities where you can discover what Tortuguero has to offer, plus it also has a breakfast and 2 hours of free kayaking The first activity is the canoe tour, starting at 6 am and lasting 2h 45 min. Animals such as alligators, birds and some mammals can be seen, among others The second activity is a hike on the jaguar trail. This activity starts at 11 am and lasts 2 hours. On this trail it is very common to see white-faced monkeys, bird snakes and sloths. The last activity is a night walk at 6:30 pm and lasts approximately 2 hours. This activity is to see animals such as frogs, snakes, a wide variety of insects, nocturnal birds, among others. The activities can be done all the same day or the other option is to do the night walk the first night and the next day do the canoe tour at 6 am and then the day walk at 11 am.
