Leaving Aix-en-Provence, we head south through the national park - Mont St Victoire, a symbol of Provence that rises over 1000 meters behind the rolling landscape and vineyards close to the historic Provençal village of Puyloubier. A pause for lunch on a delightful Provençal village square. After lunch we begin our wine discovery - a visit to Domaine de St Ser, a small unique bio-diversity wine producer. The vineyard is at the highest point sitting against the steep backdrop of the Mountain with its intense sunshine, dry arid mediterranean climate. Afterwards a drive to our second vineyard of the afternoon - Domaine Terre de Mistral, a family run winery producing a varied selection of award winning reds, whites and rose wines as well as olive oil.
