We pick you up in Marrakech and drive out to the lake at Lalla Takerkoust for an hour and half horse riding near the rocky Agafay Desert. Views from here are outstanding with the backdrop of the High Atlas mountains. Our trip takes us up onto the Kik Plateau, sometimes called the breadbasket of the area; it is an elevated plateau where the fields are still ploughed by man and donkeys, and where each family has a plot of land to grow wheat.
