We’ll take a standard train ride followed by a ride on the steepest cogwheel train in the world. On the summit you’ll take in a staggering overview of Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. From there we’ll continue by boat to a village called Vitznau. The boat ride is a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the alpine scenery. From Vitznau, we take our second cogwheel train for a ride to the top of Mount Rigi—the queen of the mountains. You’ll enjoy your second summit on the same day before we continue by cable car and take a boat ride from Weggis back to Lucerne.

The driver-guide will greet you at the lobby of your hotel in Zurich to start the private trip to the enchanting Lucerne City and enjoy exploring the main sights: as the Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, Lake Lucerne among others. Later, you will proceed on to the panoramic part of your journey to discover Mount Rigi. To reach the mount, you have two options, by taking the boat trip from Lucerne or we can drive you to the station to take the cogwheel. In case of taking the boat trip, the route will be like this: • Scenic boat cruise from Lucerne to Weggis • Ascent with the mountain railway from Weggis to Rigi-Kulm • Descent with the mountain railway from Rigi-Kulm to Rigi-Kaltbad (or Weggis) • Descent with the aerial cableway from Rigi-Kaltbad to Weggis • Return cruise by boat from Weggis to Lucerne After finishing Mount Rigi experience, the driver will pick you up from any desired place, could be from Weggis if you won’t take the return boat or from Lucerne.
