In the morning, 1 hour transfer from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi will take you to the famous Cu Chi tunnels where you will spend the next couple of hours exploring the area and learning about the history and the incredible tenacity and ingenuity of its inhabitants. The more adventurous will have the opportunity to crawl through the tunnels and to fire off some rounds from AK47 or M16 assault riffles at the shooting range before driving to Mekong Delta. Have lunch at restaurant on the way. On arrival, enjoy cruising along the Mekong River to Unicorn Island and then take a paddle-boat to cruise through a narrow canal. The boat ride will provide an interesting look into the cottage industries where coconut candles are manufactured by the locals.
