This site was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa people (known today as Cham people) made sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this famous architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Mỹ Sơn was recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999.
