Aix-en-Provence - Mont Sainte Victoire in search of Cézanne, discover the unique vineyards of the Provençal landscape. This is a great day out for lovers of fine food & wine. Discover the old town of Aix, follow in the footsteps of Cézanne. Leaving Aix-en-Provence, we head south through the national park - Mont St Victoire, a symbol of Provence that rises over 1000 meters behind the rolling landscape and vineyards close to the historic Provençal village of Puyloubier. A pause for lunch on a delightful Provençal village square. After lunch we begin our wine discovery - a visit to Domaine de St Ser, a small unique bio-diversity wine producer. The vineyard is at the highest point sitting against the steep backdrop of the Mountain with its intense sunshine, dry arid mediterranean climate. Afterwards a drive to our second vineyard of the afternoon - Domaine Terre de Mistral, a family run winery producing a varied selection of award winning reds, whites and rose wines as well as olive oil.

We begin with a visit to the exceptionally beautiful winery - Château La Verrerie, located in the heart of the Luberon landscape, a beautiful setting dominated by vines, olive trees, and lavender. Château La Verrerie sits between the lower Rhône valley and Provence. It was not until 1988 that the appellation cote-du-lubéron was created, of which La Verrerie is one of the best. Next Bastide du Laval, an exceptional olive oil producer, sample a selection of their oils. A culture break in Lourmarin village, time to discover the boutiques, art galleries & cafes of this iconic village. A break for lunch followed by a guided visit of the restored Renaissance Château de Lourmarin onwards to Cucuron to discover and enjoy the wines of Domaine La Cavale, visit the cellars and enjoy some of their wines before making our way back.

Arles - St Rémy - Les baux de Provence I'll show you the city of Arles which has some of the best preserved Roman places in the region such as the amphitheatre & the theatre. Arles is also host to the International Photography Festival, a huge exposition with dozens of art galleries open from July to September. You'll discovered the places Van Gogh painted like the hospital, the bridge (a place in the middle of nowhere ), on the river "Le Rhône" waterfront (by night), outside a café. Next stop, Les Baux de Provence with its medieval castle high on a hilltop village just a few miles from Arles. Our last stop will be St Remy de Provence, a very nice little city with a lot of handcrafts & souvenirs shops, Van Gogh printed paintings along the road. A lot of different aspects of Provence.
