Wolf’s Lair Private Day Trip from Warsaw
Every history enthusiast should visit this place, as Wolf’s Lair is a complex of huge and tremendous bunkers, located in a picturesque land, full of woods and lakes, called Masuria. A secret complex of multi-storey bunkers, completely hidden from the world, was the witness to the most important moments of the Second World War. Despite being blown up during the retreat of Germans in January 1945, the Wolf’s Liar is still very impressive. The colossal concrete bunkers spread on the huge area show the military impetus and power of the Nazi Germany. Hitler wasn’t the only one to quarter here – many of the most important people of the III Reich, like Goering, Bormann, Keitel and Jodl, had their bunkers in Wolf’s Lair. On our way back we will visit one of the three places: Mamerki, where you can see more bunkers, a medieval castle, or a beautiful, baroque church with spectacular interior. The choice is up to you!

Tour from Warsaw: Wolf's Lair, Hitler's HQ Zones I and II
This full-day tour from Warsaw takes you to Wolf’s Lair (Wolfsschanze), Adolf Hitler’s most important World War II headquarters, hidden in the forests of northeastern Poland. The bunker complex served as the center of Nazi military planning and was the site of the failed Operation Valkyrie assassination attempt in 1944. Travel comfortably from Warsaw with an English-speaking guide-driver who provides historical background on Nazi Germany, World War II, and Poland under occupation. At the site, explore massive concrete bunkers, command buildings, and former security zones spread across forested terrain. The tour includes Zones I and II. Zone I, now a museum area, features the Führer’s bunker and key facilities, visited with guided commentary or an audioguide. Zone II remains largely abandoned, offering a raw and atmospheric perspective. After an optional lunch break, return to Warsaw in the evening.

A private driver will pick you up from the address provided in Warsaw by Mercedes car, comfortable for 1 up to 6 passengers and will take you to Wolf's Lair for a full-day tour. It was Adolf Hitler's first Eastern Front military headquarters in World War II. The complex, which would become one of several Führer Headquarters, located in various parts of occupied Europe, was built for the start of Operation Barbarossa – the invasion of the Soviet Union – in 1941. It was constructed by Organisation Todt. The top secret, high security site was in the Masurian woods about 8km from the small East Prussian town of Rastenburg (Kętrzyn). Three security zones surrounded the central complex where the Führer's bunker was located. Despite the security, the most notable assassination attempt against Hitler was made at the Wolf's Lair on 20 July 1944.
