Departing Asheville, we’ll head south into some of the highest scenery in the eastern United States, stopping at overlooks including Mount Pisgah, Looking Glass Rock, Cold Mountain, Graveyard Fields, Devil’s Courthouse, and Richland Balsam—the highest point on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Guests wanting adventure can choose the short optional hike to Devil’s Courthouse for panoramic views. Descending into Cherokee, we’ll visit the Oconaluftee Visitor Center, where elk are often spotted, and continue to beautiful Mingo Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the Southern Appalachians. We’ll also make scenic photo stops, including a charming mountain suspension bridge, before returning to Asheville through stunning mountain landscapes. As this is a private tour, the day is flexible and tailored to your group while we handle the driving.

Blue Ridge Parkway and Waterfall Hiking Tour from Asheville
We pick you up at your hotel or lodging! A seasoned local guide will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square) or will meet you at the Asheville Visitor Center if you are staying outside that distance. The excursion will take you through beautiful mountain scenery on the way to visit three impressive waterfalls and two protected forests as well as a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) to discover the amazing views surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks. We provide comfortable seating in a climate controlled van. Drinks/snacks are included. IMPORTANT Guest should be prepared for walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over a period of 2 hours, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. The tour is not suitable for children under 12. We will return to Asheville by approximately 1:30 p.m.

*The Fall Foliage Tour runs from October 3rd to 31st* Join a small group of like-minded individuals for a jeep ride on America's most famous roadway. This tour takes you on the most iconic stretch of the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, where you will enjoy endless views from your seat in our custom jeep. Your local guide will share stories about Pisgah National Forest, its rich history, and unique biodiversity, and we will stop at our favorite overlooks with the best vistas and great picture spots, guaranteed to make your friends and family jealous! We will take you up to 5,500 feet above sea level, through dense forest, and miles and miles of views. Important: Mountain weather is extremely unpredictable. Rain is very normal in these mountains. We will make sure you have ponchos but be prepared to get wet on this tour. If the weather becomes dangerous and we must cancel the trip, you will receive a full refund.
